Plant Street Market

Have you been to Downtown Winter Garden and wondered what was inside the building called Plant Street Market? If you are someone that likes to experience new venues and flavors, this is definitely a place where you will find something to enjoy and a place that you need to visit.

The concept was created by 3 friends: Andy Sheeter, Robert Scott and Jared Czachorowski. They were on their way to a ski trip in Colorado and thought it would be nice to start their own brewery back in Winter Garden. The idea was born and they mapped out the plan on a plane and put all the details of what they wanted in a brewery. When they returned from their trip, they all started looking at spaces and found the space but it was MUCH bigger than what they needed but they got creative, and Jared, being the one with the background in Architecture, put his Artisan skills to work. He wanted to bring in a building that looked authentic and blended well with the historic feel of Downtown Winter Garden. Many people see the building and ask the age of the building. It is completely brand new and you would think it has been there for years. He wanted to build a quality location that looked authentic.

When looking at how they were going to use the space, they started interviewing vendors from the Farmers market and places that were unique and different. In the process of what they thought they would scout and sell the option of coming to Plant Street Market, they were shocked at how the vendors were actually selling themselves to be chosen so that they could be part of this concept. The vendors thought it was an amazing idea.

Some of the vendors inside Plant Street Market are:

Crooked Can Brewing Co. – craft brewery

Wandering Wonton – specialty wontons and other Asian inspired foods

Euro Bake World – European-style bakery
